Land Stewardship
Native Berm – description: We practiced racial and environmental justice by restoring the land with flora indigenous to the area.
The purpose of regenerating this underutilized area was to reduce the impacts of:
- Community flooding
- Toxic landfill smells
While increasing access to:
- Beautification
- Biodiversity
- A meditative community space
- Growing Produce – description: We practiced racial and environmental justice by restoring underutilized land, curing the soil into black gold using native land practices (3 sisters), and providing fresh, healthy food to the community.
